Those old walls in the countryside are called dry stane dykes

These flight cancellations were most unfortunate. What was/were the reason(s)? Plus, I trust you wrote a suitably appropriate review of that Airbnb. 😕
[Incidentally, the station you referred to as "the 'like Central Station' of Glasgow" is the smaller of the two railway stations in Glasgow and is known as Glasgow Queen Street (the one you would usually go to if travelling to Edinburgh). The other, larger one in Glasgow is actually called .... Central Station. 😄]

i was going to ask two questions, while in scotland, you should have tried the deep fried mars bar, also, you last day, your had tikka chicken masala
that is now been voted the national dish of england. its not actualy a indian dish, but a dish created for the english pallet, it is so popular, its now the national dish, and we love it, from resturant to take away home delivery

I was born in Australia but moved to Scotland when i was 2.my grandma openly dissliked me because i have a Cathlic sounding name.
We moved to the village my mum was born in, we were aloud to be frends with anyone. A group of mothers came to tell my mum this was not on having Catolic friends. My dad was brought up in a strange prody. They hated the religous stuff and ignored the other mums. This was in the early 70's, the best thing within 2 years the devition went, well done mum and dad, we also had frends with many religions.😳😊
