Hello my Read Aloud Adventure friends! Remember Howard B. Wigglebottom from our last read aloud story? Well, he’s back again for today’s book, and today he’s teaching us about sportsmanship. What is sportsmanship? Sportsmanship means that you treat the people who you are playing with with respect. It means if you play fairly, don’t argue, don’t show-off if you win, don’t complain if you lose and always try your best. Howard is having a hard time because he likes to be the best at everything. I’m glad that Howard learned that the most important thing about playing with his team was to have fun! It’s true, you should always strive to be the best you could be, but just remember that you should do this fairly and respectfully, or else it won’t be fun for the people you are playing with...and then, they might not want to play with you, which means... you won't end up having fun in the end either.
