Buttons Kaluhiokalani Original Gangster | Surfing MasterClass

Buttons Kaluhiokalani (March 30, 1958 – November 2, 2013) was one of the most incredible surfers to ever walk the planet. When I was a kid I remember seeing this guy in Surfer Magazine on rare occasions. I was like who is this dude surfing. From the still photography I could tell, this guy was awesome, maybe I can surf like dude someday. He was an innovator of modern surfing maneuvers and was known for his switch foot surfing and backside 360’s.
