What beautiful thing, he is now caring for the pure souls, the horses.

This man is EXACTLY where he was meant to be. Working with these horses will help heal his trauma. You see the way he interacts with them? They already love and trust him. A man like him is not meant to be a fighter, a k1ller. Bless you my friend, you are in the right place, God has taken care of you ❤

The reaction to the call to stand and fight was the actions of an absolutely sensible man.

Fear has no place in the hearts of those who have made peace with God and fellowmen. I am happy for you brother. May you and your family be filled with the grace and abundance you all so deserve. Amen.

I’m pretty sure prisoners in most countries were fed better than this guy.

I have family friends in Syria and they had to leave the country that time for the greater good. They have two sons around 18-20 years old when the civil war happened. They where told to join the army or else.

God guided him to this place for healing. Horses are amongst the highest spiritual creatures with pure open hearts and you can see that they already adore him. I wish him all the best in his future.

This could be us… if we were born Syrians. Let that sink in. 😢😢

Soldier doesn't fight to destroy what's in front of him. He fights because he wants to protect his home with his life because it is too precious to be lost. If that motivation gets flipped, there is nothing left to defend.

This will turn out to be a good thing for Syria. I hope and pray for my Syrian brothers, my family came from Syria in 1899. I hope that Türkiye who supported HTS can help them return Syria to the paradise it once was, the Syrian people deserve no less.

I just saw a video of prisoners being released from Syrian prisons. One of the prisoners was a soldier who had defected 3 months earlier.

In Myanmar, forced conscripts are happening as the civil war escalate. Nobody want to fight for dictator but the were forcely taken and their families threatened. Needless to say, their morale are low with mass desertion and frequent surrendering.

During the Arab Spring about a decade ago, it was theorized that Syria's Assad dynasty survived because a united military supported the Assad regime. How did Assad create such an army? By fostering shared aversions, it was said. Instead of showering the military with material resources, the Assad regime used common identity bonds and ideology to foster a loyal armed forces. Apparently such bonds, after a long drawn out civil war, are not enough to ensure the loyalty mid-ranking junior officers and enlisted men.

They always knew Assad would choose ride over ammunition. No point fighting for a lost cause and further piss off their conquerors.
