It sometimes takes something to happen in your life that makes you re-think what you really have. Things in the past that you may have taken for granted. Don't waste time feeling sorry for yourself, it's a waste of energy. Focus on what you do have and be grateful. One of the most important things you have in your life is people, and the time you spend with them. This lady is so inspirational and humble.

She is what we should aim to be: a kind person who wants to help people and loves life for what it is.

This afternoon noon as I rode the bus back home I saw a homeless man with a cardboard sign that read "Smile". The sign was decorated with a rainbow,  peace sign and a smiley face. It made me think of my day. I realized that I should smile more often, no matter what happens. As long as I smile my day will be wonderful. This lovely lady's story just made it more clear.
