I've only seen this notebook in one store in America, and then I aaw it on bureaudirect. I'm so glad that I had a chance to review this notebook and actually hold it in my hand. Seeing the review and actually having the book physically in your hands are two different things. Once you have this notebook in your hands, then you'll understand what I mean. It's a great notebook, and the paper is 80g, great for fountain pen use. I've also included examples of different nibs and inks to show the quality of the paper and how it avoids bleed through and show through.

Thanks for the video, Larry. I never paid any attention to paper quality until I got into fountain pens. I love my Rhodia paper and will have to try the Mnemosyne.

Hi Larry. I have one of these notebooks and I agree wiith your opinion of this paper .It is smooth and it takes my fountain pens beautifully with no bleed through and practically no see through. I bought my notebook at Goulet Pens.

I'm pretty sprung on Tomoe River - thin but sturdy, no problem with feathering.

Rhodia paper i believe is made by Claire Fontaine and i have used both Claire Fontaine and Rhodia pretty extensively. The Mnemosyne paper I've not tried so ill have to pick one up . One paper you might want to check out is Fabriano which is really nice its fountain pen friendly but has a little more tooth than Rhodia which i like.
Thanks for the review Larry.

I have both of these types of paper. I love both. I think it would help if you show close up views of your writing sample, besides just talking about it. We can see from a distance, but it isn't as good as if you turned the page around you wrote on, and focus in on it...front and back.
