Lincoln Continental with Coach Doors review (suicide doors)

Only 80 Continentals with Coach doors were produced for 2019 and I was lucky enough to be able to review one of them. This was car 4 of 80 and it was beautiful.

Beautiful car. Lincoln should make Coach doors a standard option on all their vehicles as a marker differentiator.

Little history why they were called “suicide doors” :
Since the doors were hinged at the rear edge, if the vehicle was moving and they sprang open, anyone who grabbed to stop this from happening was whisked out of their seat into the roadway. Seat belts were not in use at that time. Pretty scary time back then 😱

Own this car since 2019 it is a fabulous car. Very comfortable even for short ppl, turbo very fast & super fun to drive got almost 75K on it already. No major repairs.

Finally!! A review of this beautiful Lincoln in a color I would order it in: Black, dare I say, a Formal Black! I can picture this pulling up in front a posh hotel or restaurant, with the valet opening up the coach doors to let your party THAT is what this car is supposed to be about.... their mantra, "Quiet Luxury" Bravo! Too bad tohe SUV's will probably push it right out of the market...

OMG everything looked amazing until I saw the “manually” adjusted privacy blinds! Seriously, Lincoln went above and beyond on all features and couldn’t do “power” sunshades like the ones in the S Class and 7

Nice review. The car is exquisite. I love what Lincoln is doing. The Detroit Symphony recorded all the chimes in the car. This thing really does redefine luxury automobiles.

Why wouldn't this $65, 000 - $100, 000 car have power shades on the back windows, and good golly miss molly, I hope "Timothy" is going to tint those windows until they can't be tinted anymore.

Brother has come a long way from the slight stuttering and voice confidence. No cuts in the video, all one take which is impressive in itself for 5 years ago. Keep going bro, you're killing it!

Love the coach doors! Lincoln has done an amazing job. Thank god they have enough styling sense to keep the front grill proportional to the front of the car, unlike Lexus!

Well, damn Lincoln! I must say that I'm very impressed with this edition of the Lincoln Continental. I also have to agree with some of the other comments about how Lincoln should have introduced this way early on when it was introduced what were they thinking? Now what I think they should do is a stretched and widened version of the same vehicle and reintroduce the Town Car name and add more content to make it more Uber premium and very opulent that'll be badass for sure.
