This is a concern regarding where to install the expansion tank which is required by code in many counties or states. The tankbooster's  manual reads "Non return valves are integrated in the cold and hot water inlets of the valve". Does this mean that the non return valve from the cold water side of the tank booster would not allow the excess pressure originated in the water heater reach the  expansion tank  which is installed "upstream" just before  the cold water inlet of the tank booster? Therefore, the expansion tank would need to be installed downstream, just after the tank's  booster non return valve in the cold water side.   I wish I could explain this with a picture.
