This week it's all about catching up, so I thought I would show a bit of the behind the scenes of what my day looks like when writing 5,000 words in a day. Hopefully it'll help inspire you to do your own big day of catching up and give you a few ideas you can use with your own writing.

I'm not really doing NaNo this year, but I am using it to help me stay focus and track my project. The plan was to get the first draft completely done by midnight on New Year's Eve, but I can easily (I'm lying to myself, because I know it will be anything but "easy") finish it before Christmas if I aim for 3, 000+ words per day. 5k sounds like so much, but I've been finding myself hitting 2k or 2.5k and saying, "It's only one/two more 25-minute sprint(s). I got this!" It's been getting me to that 3-3.5k count for the last few nights, so I'm hoping I can keep this up 😅

I'm fortunate enough to have time for writing throughout the day; the problem is actually utilizing that time and getting it done. Watching videos like yours and a few others help with that motivation, so thank you for the encouragement and ideas to help keep on track! ❤

Thanks for posting this video, I've never heard of NaNo before and I think I might just try it!

I won’t be able to do anything like this this November but I’m still trying to write a bit. I’ve never been very good at writing for a long time and putting a lot of words on the paper so I’m setting my goal for this years nano at 15, 000 words
