Nero is the one who should have been castrated. He was a real monster and his cruelty knew no bounds.

Having studied Nero at university, not many people.are aware of how disgustingly cruel and gruesome he was in actuality. A psychopath/serial killer leading the Romans..

That poor child. I can't imagine the horror he went through.

Poor child. Nero was a filthy creep. I feel so terrible for this young man. He went through a disgusting ordeal with a sexual psychopath.

Keep in mind the medical conditions of that time so this child was castrated with no anesthesia, no pain medication, and probably not even in sanitary conditions. Just laid down on a table & someone walked up with a sharp knife. Also, let’s not forget the healing process & trying to keep the wound clean. That’s torture in itself. To not only target a child & marry them but to also remove any type of chance enjoyment from sexual activity even as a an adult. So you are literally making this person a sex slave for the rest of their life. Even as adult there is no MUTUAL enjoyment in sex due to the castration. the king is the one person that gains any pleasure, while Sporus is aware he’s literally just being used for his body. And then to dress this child up and marry them while referring to him as your late wife that you kicked to death. That’s like top tier in sick 🤢

Kicks his "beloved" wife to death, marries a boy that resembles her and calls him by her name. Make it make sense.

Nero was not sick. He was evil. Sick people can't help what their doing. Evil people enjoy the suffering of others for their own selfish pleasure. The reason why normal people with a conscious are disgusted by this behavior is because normal people are not soulless monsters. what makes it worse is that poor innocent childs' entire life was completely ruined, and Nero's poor murdered wife and child's life were discarded like trash. all of them were victims of an evil man with twisted desires and no morality, missing a soul. karma is very real and I hope it took its time on him before during and after he died.

Why allegedly? It's a well known historical fact. Nero killed his wife, then regretted it, and tried to rectify it by finding a person who resembled her. The unfortunate boy was a victim of a forceful castration and we can only imagine what else. He had no choice whatsoever in the whole thing. Being covered in gems cannot be a worthwhile compensation for a lifetime mutilation.

Women and children have endured great cruelty at the hands of some men throughout history. I really hope there is a punishment waiting for these evil souls after they die.

People defending Nero killing his wife are walking red flags 🫡

Sporus (which is a totally disrespectful name, probably given by Nero) went on to kill himself at the age of 20 to avoid being SA’d and murdered at the behest of one of the succeeding emperors in a gladiator arena in front of the Roman people. Rest in peace to this boy and the others who were forced to suffer.

I always think about the pain thos young man experienced. After Nero died. Other leaders took him, abused him. He later committed suicide.

Sexual child abuse is as old as the world itself. The world is a corrupt place and this tragedy is happening as we speak. So sick and disgusting 😢

One of the many reasons why Nero was one of the most disgusting emperors of them all.
He took after his uncle, Caligula. Not the best role model in the world.

It's never a positive to be favored by someone with power. They'll only destroy you for their own gain.

He tortured his people, fed Christians to lions, burnt down Rome to see inspiration that would help him finish a poem, and instead of rebuilding built an obscenely large palace that took up a third of the city. He was demented.

So I just read somebody trying to justify Nero jumping up and down with both his feet on his pregnant wife, stomping her to death, saying that there must have been something she might have done to warant that and that it was justifyable. I have always been disgusted with Nero but I'm equaly disgusted with anybody trying to defend that filthy and and disgusting behavior. A lot of people in these comments need to seek help, not get married and never have children. What the hell eewww 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Sporus was not his real name. His name means "seed" and Nero gave it to him to make cruel fun of him not being able to sexually perform.

Poor boy. That’s really tragic to be forced into something against your will. Nero’s style was really of somebody who’s fit for the mental asylum.
