Listen to that V-12 Merlin engine! This is the Collings Foundation's "Toulouse Nuts" performing an engine run-up and then departing via runway 33! Also included are some aircraft performing touch-and-go's using the smaller runway 28 on this cold Tuesday morning (temperatures remained in the 60's, which is cold for us!).

This was filmed when the warbirds visited Pompano Beach Airpark on their annual Wings of Freedom tour. They usually visit Pompano in addition to Ft. Lauderdale Executive, but this year they only went to Pompano. For our friends who may be unfamiliar with the area, PMP is a small airport located 10 nautical miles north of Ft. Lauderdale International and a few miles northeast of Ft. Lauderdale Executive.

Filmed from the Pompano Beach Golf Shop parking lot. BJG 1/24/17

More warbird footage is on the way soon! We believe these new videos need to be given preference, so we move them to the top of our upload list. We'll resume regular uploads (chronological order) once these are all uploaded.
