What is a special paramecia devil fruit?.
So I’ve recently talked about how there are 11 different types of devil fruits that exist inside the story of one piece, and one type I was shocked to find some didn’t really know much about was the special paramecia type which is the classification of katakuri’s devil fruit. For starters this one sub category was among the first to really stand out to us fans as it showed a level of skill and technique that we hadn’t really seen in the series up to this point. This fruit and more specifically its user kat, showed how one can gain a power and truly bend it to their will and make it truly theirs. A special paramecia fruit is unlike any other Paramecia, for example the Mochi Mochi no Mi allows the user to create, control, and turn into Mochi itself, which means this fruit has the properties of a Logia despite being a Paramecia. During Kat’s fight with Luffy he paired this fruit with his future sight and it really confused Luffy, who couldn’t figure out how even with Haki infused attacks he couldn’t hurt him, in fact this confused a lot of us. But it was soon revealed that this was because he was bending his body around Luffy’s attacks and only giving the illusion of a Logia physique. And despite it being one of the strongest fights for Luffy to date, the special paramecia wasn’t truly the reason for it. In fact if that fruit was in the hands of someone other than katakuri I don’t believe it’d be all that broken.. It's the definition of average power with a strong user. In short a special paramecia is a paramecia type fruit that has access to all three types of abilities from the main 3 categories, It has the Body Alteration, Environmental Manipulation, and Substance Generation.. Like it’s really not all that surprising why it's called a special fruit.
