The difference between the toys and the OG's, the kids who became The Toys weren't stuffed in the suits. William hid their bodies right under the cameras blindspots. Meaning the bodies were found but their souls weren't there anymore. Unlike the OG's whose bodies were hidden inside the suits.
I don't know what's worse, hopelessly standing still in a metal carcass while police finds your body and you try to scream "I'M STILL HERE" But nothing comes out.
Or watch while people hopelessly look for you, never knowing your body is hidden away inside of the same metal prison your soul is now binded to

(Edit) For those who aren't up to date.
In the FNaF2 death mini games, you control withered Freddy, the puppet leads you to each one of the bodies, and you see they're hidden right under the cameras blindspots, and the Puppet even spells out "Save Them" until William deactivates Freddy and says "You can't"
