ROLI Seaboard RISE 49 - David Gilmour - 5 A.M. - Kashyap Iyengar
Показать описание
Kashyap Iyengar - 14 year old progressive rock keyboardist, singer-songwriter, producer, endorser and featured artist at ROLI.
The new revolutionary instrument from music technology/developing company ROLI - the Seaboard RISE 49, has been played in this video, with a self-created guitar tone, created right from the scratch using ROLI's accompanying software 'Equator'. The Seaboard RISE 49, a 5-dimensional instrument, allows the user to program the various nuances of a real instrument. Speaking particularly of this guitar patch and track, the 'Lift' dimension has been set to the low-pass filter frequency parameter, making the release moment sound like a fret/pickup noise. The 'Strike' dimension, set to the filter resonance parameter makes the velocity affect the resonance, making the higher velocities sound like a stronger pluck to the guitar strings. Two basic guitar waves have been layered with different configurations, using Equator's delay FX, varied for both speaker channels, thus obtaining the exact mid-hi-oriented guitar tone of David Gilmour - the artistic guitar player from Pink Floyd known for his unmistakably emotive guitar playing and tone.
