thnx for that epic, and thorough review bro. after watching your review i bought one off Amazon for $86. that's the base price, add in the one day shipping, and insurance, it's about $110, but it's so worth it. I snorkel several times a week, fish almost every day (i live on the Montreal River, Northern Canada) And i've been wanting a action cam, but couldn't justify $400+ for the go pro. I was going to order that selfie stick you showed, but went a more heavy duty one. I'm filming in deep water, and also fast moving water like rapids. I already got a 14 foot pole to mount that camera on, for fishing. I catch the fish, my sister films them with the pole, and action cam. I'm so happy with this camera it's crazy. I've put it through it's paces, and it's passed with flying colors. The deepest dive i did with it was 40 feet, and it handled it no prob. I had a 32 pound Northern Pike bash the crap out of it when the pole cam got to close to it in the water, the pike did his typical head shake, and hit the cam about three times. He did no damage to it at all. i thought for sure he would have cracked the casing, but nope, it did fine. there is ONE thing you may have to replace once in a while. the water proof case. not because it breaks, but because it can get scratched. which is to be expected when a 32 pound pike rakes the side of the cam with his 40+ razor sharp teeth. anyway Now i'm looking into getting a small drone to attach the camera to, so i can fish top water for big muskies, and my sister can use the drone to get above the lure, and catch these monsters right when they strike. still looking at reviews for drones. Once my shoulder heals up, i might start my own fishing, diving channel. this camera has awakened a passion for capturing the world around me i didn't know i had. again, thnx for the review

I have a Drift HD Ghost and this little camera is as good as the Drift and might be even better. I paid £35 from the bay and it is not a fake. Great review.

I would not shot with the Anti-shake set to on, try using a tri-pod or better, a electronic hand-held gimbal system. It's works like a digital effect that enlarges the image and crops the frame cause a grainier picture.

Wow the quality is so goood, I actually bought an action cam on amazon it looks like this one and was also the same price (well just 10 bucks more), the image quality was good but the sound on videos wasn't good at all, the sound here is so clear, I'm sure going to buy this one ! Thanks for the video it really helped me with my choice :)

When you turn the original cam on, it will show first the SJCAM logo and then the model  SJ4000, the original is the only one that will work without any problem after upgrading the firmware from SJCAM website.
