In middle school we had a computer class, which I was in for only a few weeks, but I stumbled across this album when I decided to look through all the student files. Someone ripped the CD to a school computer. Needless to say, I listened and the next day I brought my usb cable to plug in my Creative Zen MP3 player and not once did I listen to any other song for a few weeks straight. I'm 23, out of high school, with a baby on the way, and this record still gets put on every device I own.

My all time favorite metal album. No doubts. This one got me into guitar playing.
For me it's mainly the combination of emotions + aggression. You can feel it in the lyrics, guitar and drum play. I love it.

Ascendancy was my first tattoo. I think I was only 18. Man I loved trivium so much back then. Still love to come back to them throughout the year. Boy it's werid time flies I'm already heading to mid 30s so glad I had this music when I was younger.
