Making A Flint Hand Axe in under 3 minutes
Lets see how well this goes, I am going to attempt to make a Stone Age Axe in the time it takes to boil an egg.

If that hand axe is 750, 000 years old...then it's about as old as the oldest evidence of cooking a carp in a campfire that was just recently discovered! Also, thank you for sharing this with us. I hope other flint knappers will consider doing a 3-minute-axe challenge like this, and posting the results (win or fail--you can learn a lot from failures) so we can see how they come along as well!

I ran outta things to watch on YouTube! Then I found your channel. For the past 2 weeks this is what I watch on my lunch breaks. Thanks for the content!!! Very cool to see how it is done!

As a time served stone mason I can appreciate the talent you have for knowing exactly where and how to hit each individual stone that you pick up. I find your demonstrations( particularly the longer vids) so relaxing, even though sometimes yourself may appear a little anxious, I still find it an absorbing process so thankyou Will for sharing, I too shared your video in the hope that others can enjoy, cheers dude.

I always look forward to these longer videos(longer than the YouTube shorts, anyway!), they're really a treasure to watch with my wife. It's nice to take in your skill and a touch of history. You've got such a lovely voice and way with explaining things. I hope to see your work for many years to come! 💚

Absolutely fantastic! As someone who studies the age, practices bushcraft and primitive living this is gold. Superb videos and I feel that I always learn something. Liked and subscribed:)

I know it's not very prehistoric, but wouldn't a pair of safety glasses be a good idea with bits of razor sharp flint flying around?

Never realised the hand axe was for butchering rather than chopping trees. Makes sense of its shape now.
