Quick note about rubies:
So while trading was being introduced they needed stuff to trade so they added rubies the creators thought it was to similar to red stone so they changed it to emerald but they forgot to change texture so rubies were in the game for one day this making them the rarest ore in minecraft

I currently am trying to make as much progress in peaceful. Then I switch to easy mode for all the mob drops. My plan is to find all the resources before hunting down mobs.

Fun fact: the ruby is from the old texture because the minecraft devs thought of adding rubies for trading but changed it to emeralds because rubies were easily mistaken for redstone
