In this trailer for our documentary "Rare Breed," we focus on the civil rights struggle that Alex Dees had to endure. "Rare Breed" has now screened in Arizona twice including at the Chandler International Film Festival.

Alex Dees is my grandfather’s 1st cousin. As a kid we would have our family reunions on the Dees Ranch and watching this short clip brings back so many great memories and makes me proud to know that my family not only survived in such a challenging time but also thrived and made great contributions to their community and the nation as a whole. With that being said, if there’s any way that I can get a copy of this documentary please let me know and thanks big time for sharing our story/family history.
