So good!
“Finger tips not finger prints” really helped me during the cylinder boot camp!
Thanks for making this video.

2 years into my pottery journey and in the studio I say "Time for a corrective pull" like that's just an industry term. 😆 Going to have to add "TM by Mudgirl Pottery!" 😁 Love the videos and appreciate the real life uncut explanation of the processes. THANK YOU!

The problem I have is rising up, I've tried all ways, but I leave a skirt at the botten, even pushing in tight at the bottom doesn't work for me, towards end of term, July, I started using a stone but that then causes other problem, as I can't feel the clay, I push in and up so I'm moving too much clay, I'm a work in progress, so when class starts on the 26th September, I will try with out the sponge, pull up slower, thankyou for showing me a way to go. Thanks 😊

My challenge is pulling the clay up and feeling the thickness of the walls as I move clay up.

Ah Ah moment for me was, fingers are curled from the inside, you are using finger tips not my prints, you are never taking clay from down here and bringing it up here, you're squeezing this so that this clay jacks up. Something I need to work on for sure. Thanks Mel.

Thanks a million for this video🙏🏽...exactly what I needed at this precise moment in time, after months of being stuck at making no higher than 4-5 inch pots and almost giving up. I shall be subscribing to watch all videos👍🏽
