Playing the Trunks DLC for the Kakarot made Gohan's death hit so hard. It was like watching the scene for the first time again. He's utterly powerless against the androids and while you probably could defeat one of them on their own, it's just like Trunks said. They ganged up on Gohan. Running out of energy, he puts all he has into one final attack, and for the first and final time, it wasn't enough to save the day.
