Hello Youtubers!!! I hope your day is going well!

Let’s head to a popular turn of the century horror writer, Saki, born as H.H. Munro. Born in modern-day Myanmar in 1870, Saki was a celebrated short story writer, who was really strong at penning a very quick story. He passed away in WW1 trenches by a German sniper.

Let’s look at his 4 page story Srindi Vashtar, who’s title character is a polecat ferret owned by a ten year old boy, Conradin who objects to his guardian’s passive aggressive nature. The story took me fewer than 15 minutes to read.

Have you read Srindi Vashtar? Any other Saki’s stuff? What did you think of it? Did you agree with my video? Anything in the video or the story that you’d like to discuss? Sure; let’s chat about it!

Did you enjoy this video? Glad to hear it! Are you a person who enjoys finding these older books? Then why not hit that lil’ ol’ subscribe button and let's get your fix of reviews of older fantasy, science fiction, forgotten classics? Thanks again for watching and reading!!!

An excellent video. It was difficult for me to find a concise, spoken word commentary on the story, until I stumbled across your video. Thank you.

I have that book and that was a good story. Saki was killed in WW1. The only other Saki story I ever read was "When William Came" which was not horror.
