FILM DESCRIPTION:
Talented getaway driver Baby (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. After meeting the woman (Lily James) of his dreams, he sees a chance to ditch his shady lifestyle and make a clean break. Coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), Baby must face the music as a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

Slapping those glasses off without actually touching Baby is pretty impressive, surgical precision at his finest here

This is Jon Bernthal's only scene in the movie and he nailed it. This was his scene, nobody else's.

I feel like he put on the red glasses first because he knew they would get smacked off again and he doesn't really care for it.
Then the third pair is the one he actually wanted on all along.
Like the red pair was just a decoy one that he could sacrifice.

The symbolism behind this scene is pretty interesting. Baby's sunglasses represent his blindness to the world of crime and its consequences which is shown later in the movie when his sunglasses are broken and he quite literally sees the violent side of crime.

By removing his sunglasses Griff is trying to show baby what he is getting into but baby still doesn't want to see it

Ok for real though, when baby takes out his left earbud, if your wearing headphones, his music starts coming through the right ear instead of both. That's just an insane amount of detail that would never get noticed in a movie theater...

Probably the best aspect of this movie is the timing of the music with the sound effects and the overall movements. When Tequila was playing the gunfire was synced perfectly to it.
