ESEE4, every day for the last 4 years, I use the spring clip to carry 5 o clock IWB ( inside the waist band) and appendix CCW. The sheath disappears and it's so satisfying when I need a sharp chisel, prybar, 8"Sonotube concrete forming tube cutter, etc. I have lived at a building site in the Uinta mountains for two winter's and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner on my tailgate and I don't miss carrying the nice tactical folders...
The ESEE4 performs like a big knife, the slim handles and sheath keep a low profile and absolutely rugged durability of old school 1095 make me feel ready to take on any problem.

The sheath is such a large factor in how to integrate a fixed blade into EDC. I'm interested in adding a TOPS little bugger into my rotation.

Izula 2 and the Candiru are my favorite edc. I've been EDC'ing a Izula and Ranger 78 SAK for about 9 months. The longest I've EDC d anything so it's a keeper setup.

I ve been carrying fixed blades for 2 years and dont see myself going back.

1. Quicker and easier to deploy...1 handed
2. More durable... no lock to break...
3. Free up pocket space
4. Not dragging your hand across your knife to get to other things...
5. They just look nicer and I have way more confidence in fixed blades than I do with folders.

I was recently sold on the whole “edc fixed blade” thing. I just ordered a White River M1 Backpacker to everyday. I personally only neck carry fixed blades because I live in the butt crack of Texas and rarely wear belted pants, I’m also a college student and although knives are allowed I like to be inconspicuous. Love the channel guys thanks for the video!

I used to have a Ghoststrike and I actually lost it out one day, so I finally ordered a new one from you guys... Sooo happy with it. I carry it strapped to my ankle and it just disappears, but when I need it, it's there and razor sharp!

I've carried my Esee Izula II in an Armatus sheath for about three years now. (Crossdraw appendix) It's a great knife.

my normal "brace of knives" is a 2-knife set-up: 1 fixed blade and 1 folding blade. (and there is a swiss army in the front pocket also...but I digress) fixed blades are <4' and include the shivworks shivpick, CRKT Stiff K.I.S.S., or one of many bush knives that I normally use for hunting/bush but, at times find their way into my EDC rotation. I Have a pretty large "want list" of fix blades for future purchase to supplement the shivpick/Stiff K.I.S.S. staples.

Love this channel!! I carry a Case mini Finn every day, it never leaves my side. Going on 4 years of carrying it this year, still in great shape, and it's seen some abuse.

Keep up the good work guys!

I carried the Strongarm for a year as a
Septic truck driver. It is a workhorse. Also I never got questioned on not wearing a mask when it was on my hip. I always carried it cross side. I want to carry it again

The timing of this is awesome. I’ve decided recently to buy and start carrying a Guardian 3 sheepsfoot and I come home to this vid! In another twist, I’ve never been the guy who gets to live down the road from some awesome knife maker/shop and I recently discovered that I’m close enough to Bradford Knives to DRIVE THERE and pick one up myself! Gonna make a day of it! Thanks for the awesome timing guys! Keep it up!

I used to EDC a Condor Mini Bushlore, lately I’ve been carrying an Esse Izula for work, and I just picked up the new CRKT Minimalist Cleaver. I love EDCing a small fixed blade during work.

Hated my Ghost Strike. There was something wrong with the sheath that caused it to dull the blade every time I drew it. Carry a Guardian3 now. Much happier.

One of the knives in my EDC rotation is a buck 103 (I have both the wood and phenolic ones). The handle is super comfortable, and while the steel is nothing special the geometry is good. One thing I can't emphasize enough about fixed blades is that once you find one you like, don't settle for the factory sheath unless you love it! I have three custom sheaths for my bucks, two kydex models for EDC and a leather one with a dangler and firesteel loop for camping. Some people might think I'm crazy for spending $100 on a sheath for a $70 knife, but I look at how much I like the knife more than how much it costs when I choose to invest in it.

Is there a video you guys do about different ways to carry knives . pros and cons . and what situations. "Dangle" carry, Scout, neck, pocket, boot. Back, ect.

I edc the Bradford 3.5 with high saber grind drop point. Made myself two different kydex sheats: with the first I carry it with an ulticlip 3.3 in my pocket, second is with a horizontal on my belt for cross draw…hell of a knife! Im in Love!

Been carrying a Benchmade Snody 210 that sat around in my cabinet for years. Love using it, love the leather sheath that came with it.
