In this lesson we will learn the transitivity pairs in Japanese, namely transitive and intransitive pairs.
Just like in English, Japanese language also has the concept of transitive and intransitive verbs.
Transitive verbs call for a subject (an actor) and an object (the thing which is acted upon, both are necessary for transitive verbs.
While for intransitive verbs, they only need the subject or the thing or person that goes through the change.
In Japanese, the verbs may be confusing because of the of the use of the same Kanji.

At 5.35, you say that 天気(てんき) is 'electricity', however, 電気(でんき) is electricity (Tenki = weather)
