My weekend in The Dead sed started on road 90 to the south of Israel
and he was rich in experiences included breathtaking views.
Suddenly out of nowhere an amazing stream and ice-cold water in the heart of the desert,
A quarter of an hour's drive away you reach a monastery hewn in a mountain that is not really understood how it was built hundreds of years ago.

Saint George's Monastery:
Is not far from the Jerusalem-Dead Sea highway,
Just drive on highway 1 from Jerusalem turn left at Mitzpe Jericho, then turn left again at the T-junction,
from there you can reach the monastery entrance gate.
Prat Stream Nature Reserve:
In order to get here take highway 1 From Jerusalem to the Dead Sea, after Mishor Adumim, turn left to road 437.
Continue along this winding road and then turn right to Almon.
Kalia Beach:
One of the best-known beaches of the Dead Sea.
Is located right off the exit from Highway 1 to Road 90:
