Great game. New player tip: always take out largest number possible, since they're harder to roll and it stinks to lose because you had a hole at 2 because you thought getting rid of two numbers in round 1 was smart.

I think 7 has the highest probability to roll. Whether or not it's a good move, I would try to put down any number except 7

ACTUALLY THE RULES SAY YOU CAN ONLY SWITCH TO ONE DIE WHEN THE 7, 8, AND 9 ARE OUT. HE STILL HAD 8 IN THE GAME.

I used to play this all the time when I went to camp and there were no electronics. This, solitare, cards, and the peg triangle puzzle. I feel like I didn't switch between using one and two dice but maybe I'm misremembering since this was a decade ago.
