My daughter went to University in San Francisco; my father worked at BART since it’s inception. Since she graduated from college we have never been back to the Bay Area. I always loved the city, but without safety there is no reason to visit a place that you will likely end up as a victim of crime, with no recourse. West coast city tourism is dying, and these city leaders don’t seem to be able to grasp the concept that victims are the ones they should be helping, not giving a free walk to criminals.
