I feel like the Suicide Squad shouldve had at least one JL member with them to face them. Like the Flash. Bro has connections with half of the squad members, Shark semi respects him, Boomarang hates his guts. Harley and Deadshot would also be hilarious to tag with Flash.
Gameplay wise, he'd be the plot device that keeps the scrawny humans from getting blitzed. By using an evasive action, Flash will zoom to the player and relocate them a little bit towards the direction their analog stick points. He could also act as a way to stun the leaguers which would give the player a better and more plausable way to lower their hp with whatever weakness embued bullets they got.
Plus the story that could occur from this, the most goofy and youngest hero on the League forced with the scenario that he has to kill his long time friends. It would make more sence that he'd try denying the killing factor than Wonder Woman. Yet, it could be this denial and push to save his friends that could save at least one of them.
Batman would be a good example for this. Bro fought off the Jokers mental battles and cant fight Brainiacs just a small bit? I think it would be better to have him not kill people like the other mind controlled leaguers. It can be shown when he holds a gun against Harley and visably shakes before dropping it and knocking her out with an old fashoned Arkham game takedown. Then at his boss fight, have it be that the fear toxin fight was actually and illusion while Flash and Batman were boxing on the side. Flash is too fast to inhale the toxins, so the real Batman would have to battle him. Maybe its cliche but who better to use talk no jutsu against a shaken up Batman than the scarlet speedster? Since the player saw Batmans hesitence to kill, it would make sense that hed break out of it last minute.
Then for the big man Supes, have Batman die against him to weaken him. Giving him the send off he deserves while giving everyone a chance against the menace.

May be fan ficy and I will admit that. I love the Flash too much for him to die like he did. So to have him as the light of hope here wouldve been so fun.

"Teen Titans: Save the Justice League" would have been so much better.

-Raven is literal walking hack, she would justify defeating Superman, WW and the Flash by using her magic to debuff their speed and strength for the rest of the team to take them down.
-Robin and Nightwing could work together to outsmart and take down Batman.
-Starfire could absorve the energy of the Green Lantern.
-Cyborg could be crucial to defeat Brainiac.
-Beast boy would have amazing and varied gameplay though his multiple forms.
-Raven could undo the brainwash without the need of killing them.

Also, Teen Titans are much better characters(Beast boy romance with Terra alone solos in writing) and have a much better synergy as a team than the fucking Suicide Squad.
Like, what more you need to understand that the Teen Titans would be infinitely better.
