Moderna President Hopes to Develop Coronavirus Vaccine in Record-Setting Time

So not only will APC cells take up the mRNA but many other cells types will also take up the spike mRNA. These cells will then present the spike protein on their surface, and immune surveillance cells will recognize these cells as foreign. These cells will be attacked and killed by the immune system, releasing the cell contents. Now we have spike protein mixed amongst 20, 000 other kinds of protein. My concern is that the body could initiate an autoimmune response against not only the spike protein but also some of these 20, 000 other proteins by mistake, and now the patient has lupus. Is that not a possible risk to this strategy?
