Ross….another delightful video…..I am a city dweller, just outside of Toronto Canada….crazy traffic….your videos bring me peace and joy… my Ancestors, as your know lived in Northern France, Chanel Islands and southern England….they were fishermen in the late 1600…in the early 1700 they fished in the waters off Newfoundland. I do have a birthday wish for my 80th on Monday. would you please direct your camera towards France…I would see what you see when you look towards France…. Again, love your videos…. Where my grandmother lived when I first went to Guernsey in 1947. She was still there until 1953 when she then moved into St Sampsons.

My late husband's favourite place - every time we came home for a visit we had to go there and yes all around that headland you were on - lovely memories. I'm on the west coast of North Island, NZ My home town (Wanganui) is at the mouth of a river which I cross frequently. We do have beaches close by but the sand is black - because we are near to a volcanic mountain range. The black sand has a high iron content and on some hot days is almost impossible to walk on. After being brought up in Guernsey we hated the beach so had a pool in the garden. Of course the majority of beaches in NZ are golden sands but not here. My Dad’s from Guernsey, he’s passed away now he would have been 89 years.
I live Perth Western Australia, as did he. We were from New Zealand & travelled to Oz about 1995 . Dad always said Australia was were he would be.

Hi Ross. When I was a child I used to play on that island and spend my time swimming in Bordeaux harbor. My parents used to live in the little lane opposite the harbor and my wife and myself will be moving back there next month. We can’t wait to move back to Bordeaux. Keep up the great vlogs.

Indeed. I really enjoyed Bordeaux Harbor. Last year July the wild flowers/ bees were in full swing, simply beautiful! Recognized Vale Castle in one of your shots. Thought it was over-the-top as well. Also, I missed most of the puffins though I believe I saw 1 in this area. I live in Tokyo at the moment but I am from Hawaii. Guernsey is very unique! Nice work, Ross!

I live in an un-inspiring town called Harlow in Essex roughly 30+ miles from the East coast, always in the back of my mind, that if we won the lottery, should we move there, could I get a mooring ball for my yacht or a property with it's own dock for said yacht 50 foot incase your wondering, is there a RC Rock crawlers group or Land Rover club, series one club etc is there green lanes ( unsurfaced byways open to vehicular traffic ) ? nice afternoon off the beaten track with a picnic for example ? I may have more silly questions later ( when I think of some ) thank you for the video's keep them coming..
