When I used to do this years ago, I had a tool that gave a reading of the thickness of the paint. Pretty handy as some land rovers had thin paint in places

Do you know what your doing 😂 only joking your the best I've seen tbh with you I tried abit of wet sanding other day but I don't have all the rotary polisher and da as well I just have a da and some 2500 grit sheets, would like abit of advice on what I could use and where you get pads and sanding pads for a da at 4000 grit please thanks I did have some scratches remaining when I first did some other day then it looks abit better although I think it could do with more finer grit or something like that thankyou for your videos and inspiration 🎉

I’ve got an ongoing battle against the sun with my 41 year old red van. The paintwork will still come up amazing with a machine polish but what can I put on top of the polished paintwork to protect it from the sun? I’ve tried a few products

I do 1200 wet then 1500. 3G compound with water sprayed and machine polish

Could you have used the regular DA's for the wet sanding? why did you use the air hose one? (do I need to buy another tool? I only have the polishing DA)

Beautiful finish but isn't the use of a bucket old school. Transferring contaminated water to the panel each time you dip the grit paper etc.

Have you tried a Wet sand paintwork on a Subaru, you'll be down to the metal straight away 😢

why even use sandpaper tho? the door doesnt even look that bad. you could had washed it and just polished it with compound and saved yourself time. Also just cut half of the clearcoat on the door ? 😂

No need to go over 2000 with G360, just waisting time.
