You are blatantly favoring Bose.
- 10 hours extra battery life is "not much" ?
- Carrying case is better on Bose and its better that it doesn't fold? huh???
- Bose app is simpler??? Compared to the future-rich "complicated" Sony app?
- All the other reviews I've seen gave the comfort to Sony.
- Were there a mention of price 300 vs 400 ?

I own both. If you are worried about call quality, go for the Bose. Beyond call quality, I think it’s a give or take for both. Personally I think the Sony does better at noise cancelling. Also love the fact you can cover the ear cup to hear the noise around you (I don’t see what’s dorky about that).

Sound quality on the Bose is very flat, with a mild base....it was blah. I find myself more immersed using the Sony. I was not a fan on the silicone on the Bose, although their build quality feels more prestige. The Bose app is terrible! At least for now, the app doesn’t always connect. The Sony app has a lot more features. On a plane, again I found the Sony does better at noise cancelling. It’s all down to preference.

I have the Sony. 10 extra hours of battery life when we have umpteen devices to charge these days means a lot!

They are both great headphones. I was buying mainly for noise cancelling. Sony wins in that department as well. So pretty clear cut decision for me.

Nothing about the ANC comparison? These are ANC headphones after all... Watching other reviewers it seems that Sony still has the better ANC, so I'm not that sure about the advice of picking the 700 in noisy environments. Also it should have been mentioned that there is a non negligible difference in price.

Great video. I’m wondering how better are over ear headphones (like Bose 700 or Sony 1000xm3) for noise canceling or if the difference is not that big from the AirPods Pro. I’m looking to buy one or the other.

I was blown away by Sonys 'Headphones' App feature set... and not changing or playing with the different Eq and also you have custom setting is IMO .. TOTALLY of the mark, I mean really.. and the boot in the bass can be easily rectified to your taste.. through the whole range
