One of my favourite movies of all time, probably because I was born in 1950, is American Graffiti, a George Lucas project you don't hear much about these days.

All a movie has to be is entertaining. It doesn't necessarily have to be "Oscar worthy" or anything like that. All it has to do is to give you a good time while you're watching it! For example, Big Trouble in Little China is such a movie. Eye-rolling and cringe worthy sometimes, it's still fun to watch!

Love the drinker but god your top five are very different then mine. There will be blood, the good shepherd, the prestige, seven and schenectady, New York. If anyone hasn’t seen these films please do so they are amazing

All good films. I couldn't possibly choose a top 5. I could probably choose a top 20. I think RoboCop and Blade Runner probably take spots 1 and 2 for me. Alien is probably in my top 5.
