oh my gosh, thank you for this ! lots of people are so surprised when i tell them i’m homeschooled, because i’m not socially awkward like most homeschool stereotypes haha! like seriously, most of us homeschoolers are pretty normal haha

I'm happy someone finally pointed out that we do activities and stuff. Most of us don't just stay home all day every day and because if you can homeschool, it usually means you have enough money that one parent can just stay home so we have the opportunity to be homeschooled and go places

Not the point but your skin is amazing.
Also I'm a big believer in you just have to do what works for you and your family. I know a lot of people that homeschool and their kids are amazing and they are so intelligent and so well behaved. I know one lady who had to do homeschool because her child was having some special needs and she wasn't up to the task so she hired a tutor. And then I know my sister who totally messed up homeschooling and her kids could barely read when they were 15. So I think if your parents are doing a great job and you're having a good time then great that's amazing. I think ppl like my sister should just throw the towel in. Lol

A lot of data shows that homeschoolers are more advanced academically because they get more time with teachers and can learn at their pace instead of being left behind

I learned during covid that I simply cannot work efficiently at home. As an ADHD person I need the external pressure of having other people around me to complete tasks

I used to be homeschooled and my mom never took me to any of those events so I did feel very lonely. I ended up convincing her to let me go to real school 😁
