Lawsuit aims to stop migrants from moving into old Chicago high school

The group South Shore Neighbors filed a lawsuit Thursday, a temporary restraining order, to try to block the City of Chicago from moving migrants to the old South Shore High School.

The lawyer when he mentioned the zoning laws it’s a good example because my mom rented out her apartment and had a sink in the basement which was not zone and the city charged her over 20 grand fine

This is confusing. Democrats already are talking about, and doing the changing of zoning laws in communities. Right now.
Didn't bydum say something to the effect that i.e neigborhood suburbian "homes" will give way for more affordable housing in the future ?? (Trump wanted to safeguard single family homes, right? )
Currently, a percentage of affordable housing units must be built on any new apt. housing construction, and gas stoves and heaters eliminated in new housing construction in California.
That's the message all over the country lately, too due to global warming. 😮

However, when zoning is changed to house migrants, the people who voted for these leftist leaders (making the rules ) protest??

NIMBY's are an interesting bunch. They've been just fine with it everywhere else for how long now?? Actively, even viciously promoting it. Well, surprise, surprise, how quickly the tone changes when they finally get the tiniest chance to do their share of it all... Send all the buses there, lots of newly opened space in that city and they've got a lot of hospitality catching up to do.
