Danielle, the bride's father doesn't walk her down the aisle. There is no aisle. The bridesmaids don't really have anything important to do at the temple, beyond to be there for hair problems and moral support. But that's mostly what bridesmaids do in Protestant weddings, anyway. Sealings are very short, usually about five minutes. It's mostly the reviewing of the recommends and the last-minute premarital counseling bit the sealer provides that takes the longest. I felt that the fact it was so short and the fact we had so few people attend really helped my groom's nerves a lot! But, yeah, if you want a lot of eyes on you as you get married, that is probably not the experience you'll have with a temple wedding. And I've never met my father, so, for me to not have to pick a father-substitute on the day of my wedding to walk me down the aisle, that really took a load off my shoulders.

Marriage isnt a show, its a commitment between oneself, one's spouse and the Lord. Everyone can be at the reception.

@godluvsmormons Look into the reasons why and you will understand. No, I am not LDS. I do understand and respect the beliefs of all faiths.

I have a question,
since no one is allowed in the temple, how does the brides father walk her down the isle, or how do the bridesmaids anf the groomsmen play a part in the wedding?

I'm going to my friends wedding today, at a Mormon church in spring valley. I hope its not awkward since I'm not really religious. :P Plus I got the word, that their isn't any alcohol allowed, which is a bummer, but new experience should be interesting...

Beautiful. If the mormon religion was right, this would be a blessed marriage. However, the Bible makes it clear, that there is only one Word of God. The bible. Nothing added nor taken away.

because only the so called holy is allowed inside. Allready a contradiction. Only Jesus is holy!
