EASY Stove Top Southern Candied Yams|VERY CANDIED!!

Hey Divas and Gents! Thanksgiving dinner is not complete without candied yams! So if you want to make some bomb candied yams check out my recipe, it’s delicious, quick and easy Enjoy!

Ingredients
- Sweet Potatoes (3 large)
- Sugar
- Brown Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Whole Nutmeg (1)
- Vanilla Extract
- Lemon Extract
- 1 Stick Of Butter
- Water (3TBLSP) Or just Enough to cover bottom of pot

This is the ONLY recipe I use. Made it AGAIN tonight and a FULL THANKSGIVING DINNER AGAIN TONIGHT 12.3.22. We traveled out of town and he only had 1 serving No left overs. A tip: mix all your dry ingredients- white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and combine them well. It will make the layering easier.

I would just add a tablespoon of molasses. Up here in the north we use a lot of molasses so it could be added to the yams instead of dark brown sugar and would give it a depth of flavor that it could use.
