FIBA Rule Changes - Travelling and the '0' Step

That 0 step at 1:25 left the ground and came back down shortly after, meaning you missed a step (if you're allowed to hop), don't know how you missed that

Art. 25.2.1: A player who catches the ball while he is progressing, or upon completion of a
dribble, may take two steps in coming to a stop, passing or shooting the ball:
▬ If receiving the ball the player shall release the ball to start his dribble before
his second step.
▬ The first step occurs when one foot or both feet touch the floor after gaining
control of the ball.
▬ The second step occurs after the first step when the other foot touches the
floor or both feet touch the floor simultaneously.
▬ If the player who comes to a stop on his first step has both feet on the floor
or they touch the floor simultaneously he may pivot using either foot as his
pivot foot. If he then jumps with both feet no foot may return to the floor
before the ball is released from the hand(s).
▬ If a player lands with one foot he may only pivot using that foot.
▬ If a player jumps off one foot on the first step he may land with both feet
simultaneously for the second step. In this situation, the player may not pivot
with either foot. If one foot or both feet then leave the floor no foot may return
to the floor before the ball is released from the hand(s).
▬ If both feet are off the floor and the player lands on both feet simultaneously,
the moment one foot is lifted the other foot becomes the pivot foot.
▬ A player may not touch the floor consecutively with the same foot or both
feet after ending his dribble or gaining control of the ball.

Dunk by Jordan is absolutally travelling ( by FIBA rules), and the second one is legal.

Thats what I also know. 2 steps carrying the ball is legal but sometimes my opponent on 3x3 ddnt counting

Most nba players travel a lot. They have too many steps before the ball was touch.

The time you catch the ball, thats the "0". two more steps will be allow if and only the time your feet touches the floor same to the time the ball hits the floor.. The 2nd step clearly landed first before the ball, therefore, it is travelling..

First was one was a good call in terms of being technical of what a travel is.. deandre took 2 steps b4 the ball hits the floor.. this was the nba rule from 90's and b4

Jordans move is a travel in Europe.You must first make a dribble and than you can do steps.Also if you take 2 steps while you are running and make a layup, its not a travel.But if you already did 2 steps you cant dribble anymore.I dont know how the rule is in the NBA but in Europe its a travel.
