I think that Bujin is pretty redeemable, solely because of how sick the premise of the cards themselves is.

It's pretty much historical concensus that Evilswarm actually didn't counter Dragon Ruler, ppl just thought it could because Ophion on the play was a decent floodgate.
But Evilswarm had a hard time outing a t1 Dracossack, and moreover Dragon Ruler had an in-engine out for Ophion. Blaster pops it from hand.
It's popularity was mainly because it was a lot cheaper than DR, making it the T2 deck a lot of people picked up and sometimes took games off the Dragons.

While dragon rulers were annoying I didn’t hear a lot of people complaining about game wise since basically everyone was running them. The only complaints I really heard was that they were just overplayed

I used to hate True Draco when it was a top meta deck, but then Zoo came out and I started to like the dack by comparison.
Now I'm even thinking about making it work in the current meta somehow.
