Granada was our favorite in Spain as well. Such a cool place. Thanks for the top 5. I'll be adding a few to my list.
I als love that you said "don't believe the media" Mexico is a great place to visit:) -Ash

Just called my girl friend over to watch this one with me, great video Jon, really enjoyable. Mexico is on both of our lists next year, in large part because your vlog in Mexico City made it look awesome!

I've been to 3 of 5 (Thailand, Spain, and Mexico). Need to visit the other 2!

Italy is our favorite. So many amazing cities to visit. Wine, pizza, gelato, more wine. What's not to love!

Yesss the food in Lima was amazing!! My Lima foodie video was the most popular video I ever made this year because the food is so good there!! I love this list. I totally agree with Peru - it's in my Top 5 as well. I wish I could have explored more of it like you did. Thailand is my dream. I'm just going to write this down and hope it comes true: "I'm going to Thailand in 2017. I'm going to Thailand in 2017. I'm going to Thailand in 2017."

Thailand and Croatia are my top 2 but I'm going to Mexico City for Labor Day weekend and Portugal/Spain/Turkey later this fall so I might have new favorites soon!

My favourite countries I've visited so far are

1) New Zealand, my other home, not being biased because I'm originally from there but the people are friendly, I've had many a good time with friends and strangers and people want to help you out.

2) South Korea - so convenient to everything, cheap, the technology is awesome and the food is awesome too!

3) Japan - the culture is amazing, I've learnt that Japan can be done on less than US$500 for a week.

Great video! Have to agree with Thailand! The Philippines is next on our list but I haven't been to Malta and might book it for a winter trip next year as the climate is always warm there, it looks incredible!

Yay! Confirms my decision to visit Peru for a couple weeks after a month in Colombia! So looking forward to Machu Picchu - And I have to see Rainbow Mountain. And Malta is now officially on the radar. Thank you!

Really interesting list! We've only been to a few of these, though I think Peru is up there for us - along with Thailand for places we've yet to visit!

Haha, and it's also so popular among digital nomads because of its low tax rates.. I love Thailand, the food, the climate, awesome!
I don't remember if you've made it to Valencia... It is sooo beautiful, we miss it!

I had honestly never considered Malta as a place to live! Even though I've seen a lot of great vlogs of it! I had always thought of other places being my potential European digital nomad home but now I'm going to have to look into Malta a bit further. :)
I agree Thailand is almost idiot proof - it's so easy to get around, even in the non touristy parts of the country. People just look after you so well.
