Dubai Fountain - 'Baba Yetu' by Christopher Tin

"Baba Yetu" can be heard on Christopher Tin's debut album "Calling All Dawns", a 12-song concept album featuring performances by the Soweto Gospel Choir, Sussan Deyhim, Anonymous 4, Dulce Pontes, Frederica von Stade, Lia, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

"Baba Yetu" is also well known as the theme song to the video game Civilization IV, and has received hundreds of live performances around the world from professional orchestras like the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia, as well as local school and church choirs.

The Dubai Fountain is created by WET Design, the creators of the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas. It's situated at the base of the Burj Dubai, the tallest skyscraper in the world.

In 2013 I asked God to give me a chance to see this fountain, I downloaded this video n I would watch it every now and then. I lost hope n forgot about it bt He didn't, 10 yrs later I got a apportunity to see it. I could nt believe I was there at the front line watching my dream, emotions came flooding n i shed tears. No one would understand what I was feeling. 'He does exceedingly abundantly more than we ask or think' not only did I just came to see the fountain, I joined the largest airline in middle East, Fly emirates as an employee. Now I get to see this beautiful fountain whenever I feel like. Thank you Jesus! GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS! 🙏

Amazing, a Christian prayer, that originally would have been spoken in Aramaic, was first written down in Greek, sung here in Swahili, put to music by an American of Chinese decent, and played in a Muslim country. A lesson in how the world ought to be.

I watched a rather extravagant light and water show at Disney World this past December, for it being simply light, music and water? It was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. I literally stopped and sat down on the walkway at closing time to watch it. I'll never go to Dubai in my life....most likely, but, I would love to see something like this. love music and lights and water...combine them? you get something awesome.
