It upsets me that there aren't such complex toys anymore. Of course a kid will get bored with a toy that only does one thing. Modern parents probably think it's "too messy" or their kid isn't smart enough to catch on. These toys came from a time when hands on parenting was at its peak. Now everyone would rather be lazy and wonder why their kid is lazy aswell.
