the lack of quality control in the past 1-2 years from WG has been absolutely embarrassing to watch. they're quite literally a billion $ company yet their game becomes more and more spaghetti with each and every new patch. bugs, lags, stutters, janky UI etc. etc. and some of this stuff just remains despite being well known. the only thing that still works flawlessly (until yesterday at least) is to drain the playerbase from it's money / ingame resources with content that is not even unique, fun or creative anymore. WG need to seriously get a grip imo.

What's even worse, is that many players' resources like free XP, gold and bonds disappeared completely yesterday and not only that they cannot get the tank now, but they don't even have access to those resources they paid for, or grinded for, anymore. I'm guessing tens of thousands of tickets are being created now.

None of this was the worst part even.

Servers can have issues, I don't think WG did this on purpose or anything. The thing is, because of the problems, some people could buy the tank and some not. If they cancelled the event or stopped it until the servers were fixed, the backlash would be a lot less severe. But the way it played out yesterday, some people could buy the tank with the style and others were locked out completely.

As soon as the problems started, the event should have been cancelled.

8:00 i sat for over 4 hours. watching from when there were 10.000 numbered tanks left. till they reached zero. and then till there were around 40.000 non-numbered tanks left. before i was finally allowed to spend my resources on getting one. hyper frustration. i'd be very happy if they decided to do the numbers for everyone, i really liked that 3d style

I agree. But at the same time I think that QB (and other content creators) are very hypocritical when they complain about aggressive fomo monetisation (WTF K100, Loot Boxes, Auctions, Workshop & other form of resurce milking) if they also take part in it (whenever conscious or not) and actually promote it & increases WG sales... HAHA, OMG, WG sold this, I cant believe.. it is bad, people got milked, I don't like WG for doing it... *has it in his/her garage anyways*....

I know streaming WOT & doing CC stuff is their source of income... but if indeed they want for WOT to be better & for the situation to improve - then all of them should actually unite & kinda boycott this kind of monetisation practices... cuz if all of them do, people will follow. They are influencers. WG should respect them & in many ways even listen to them... not the other way around...

Also... is WG selling some kind of graphical non-crypto NFT here ? Is this how low they fallen ? They are not just selling hyper unique tanks but unique skins... ?! It is getting worse than Star Citizen...

It's nice to not be caught up in all this.
I'm a 10 year player. I brought all the good premiums and the loot boxes.
But I uninstalled a few weeks ago due to all the BS involved in this game.

A little reminder for everyone that all these digital tanks that your spending big money are never yours and can be gone at any time

to be honest this event should be overhauled and remove all the non style tanks and make all the tanks with style and numbers for everyone so everyone that wants the style gets it with a number, of course whales will rush in for the lower numbers, but that give the chance to other non sweaty players to get the tank with style and a number without worrying of missing out on the style or the number, less numbers more sweating to get the numbers, more numbers it will be less sweaty, and casual people would actually wont be rushing due to FOMO, a tank with style would be a good thing for all, and people wont be pissed because they missed they tanks with numbers for whatever reason.

I had somehow got premium yesterday, and was gonna grind the Selma in the evening. Then assembly shop for a tank I don't care about and am not interested in getting comes out, then no more grind for me as all my currency disappears. Wasn't gonna get the tank at all, yet still couldn't play the game as nothing was repairing. Another example of WG incompetency

Funny thing is at the same time as this happened a silmilar issue happened in wows and its armory client (ingame store), so your resouces there were not available to use, so it seems wot and wows share the servers when it comes to resources

I’ve always hated the assembly shop as it is just fomo catapulted to the extreme by offering a tier x that you can only ever get once. Since I started on wot pc about a year and a half ago I am still bummed seeing all the actually interesting assembly shop tanks I missed and now only having these basic ones instead

On top of the crazy amount that we had to spend for the tank, the cost of the standard ammunition is ridiculous. It's the most expensive that I am aware of also.The HE shells are extremely expensive as well
