What Istanbul is Really Like | Turkey Travel Vlog

I can't believe I'm finally getting to visit Istanbul, Turkey....let the bucketlist challenge continue! For years, I've had a dream of circling the whole Mediterranean; not just the European coasts but also exploring the Middle East and North Africa. My sister, Sage, and I got to planning and together we are embarking on this adventure together. When we were looking at the travel space, it seemed that female creators still appear to be far outnumbered and local female stories are had to come by. With this in mind, we want to explore each location through the lens and experience of the local gals who live there to gain a better understanding of the culture, politics, and history of each region.

Fun story: I was actually coming to the meetup and I was in Taksim but I unfortunately missed it because I confused the location as the Taksim square is huge lol. We even dm'd, but I mixed up the meetup place, and thought the meetup wasn't happening or something when I didn't see you, and ended up in a near art exhibition instead. I was so sad that I couldn't make it but it's wonderful to see that you met local people and chatted with them, wish I was there too but maybe in the future!
