Uppercase & Lowercase Letter Matching // letter and alphabet games, activities for kindergarten

Ping pong races is a fast-paced alphabet game and a fun outdoor game you can play with your kids or students to review all sorts of fun skills! Here I played it with my preschoolers to practice matching uppercase and lowercase letters. Watch the video to see how to play it to review number sense, addition, subtraction and more!

This is so much fun! Thank you! I would put pictures of CVC words on cups and have lower case balls have them match beginning, middle and ending sounds!

Thanks so much for all your amazing ideas, Susan! I was thinking of writing words and having the kids (K or 1)read them and name a rhyming word for each before they ran off.

Good morning. I love all your ideas for this game and your other ideas too. I would use it to focus on sight words. I would do about 3-5 words at a time on the balls and cups and have my small group do it or do it as a class relay game.

Hello, I'm struggling with teaching CVC. I'm not sure how to structure my lesson, whether I should start by explaining what consonants and vowels are or just get straight to the teaching words that have cvc e.g CAT. PLEASE KINDLY ASSIST ME (NB: KINDERGARTEN)
