u know u are on another level when u can tell another All Star player, don't be nervous...I like u, so I won't embarrass u, and be DEAD SERIOUS and the opponent is actually thankful!! Just sit back for a moment and let that sink in. How much confidence in your game must you have to be able to say that to another professional player!! It's just astounding how much talent Jordan had compared to his contemporaries.

Kidd is my favorite Point Guard of all time to be honest. Definitely one of the most selfless players that ever played the game. And not only that, but he cared about giving a show to the fans with all his amazing passes. You don't get that too much nowadays.

Wow. That's a ral nice story about MJ by Jason Kidd. So, MJ was totally in control. scoring as many points as he chose and able to take it easy if he liked you. WOW.

People laughing and hating on Kobe as if Kidd didn't mention him in this video. I'm both a Michael and Kobe fan, how can you like one but not the other if they play "almost" alike. They say Kobe copied Jordan's moves, but that's actually a compliment because no one else has been able to but Kobe. Jordan at his prime probably harder to guard, but Kobe is second.

"He had 35, so that was just a lighter embarrassment." #LOL

Even 23 years after winning title #6, Jordan continues to be the gold standard by which basketball excellence is judged.

One of the most impressive things about Jordan is the respect that he commanded from the opposition. Jordan had the ability to trash talk an opponent, but yet not make it personal. That is a very difficult thing to do. Normally when you trash talk someone, they will hate your guts.

Jordan was the best no argument. It really is not up for discussion the man scored 43pts at 40yrs old i still cant believe that!!

I'll listen to Kidd on who the best is. He guarded Lebron a lot in the finals.

Jason Kidd has always been one of my favorite players since coming into the league. On court, he exudes class, leadership, and plays the game the right way. This interview just proves how professional he is. I'm glad he won a ring and I'm glad I got to see him play.

I like to show admiration to the playmakers, the guys who can make that perfect pass, and make that right shot when needed, and make everyone look good in the process. J-Kidd slowed down quite a bit as the years past but he still was thoroughly efficient in doing what he needed to do as a Point Guard. The man was purely and simply just a floor general from start to finish.

@uberathlete What I find interesting as someone who watched MJ during his prime is how he was able to consistently deliver the performance to the level that was expected of him, and yet so often he would exceed the expectation. Joe Dumars of the 'Bad Boy' Pistons said that MJ was even harder to guard later in his career. Most players get worse in their 30's but Jordan seemed to get better. He was less explosive and relied more on his jump shot, but his fadeaway is only rivaled by KAJ's sky hook.

Real experience from a for real person. He didn't let ego get in his way. I played against a pro; Phil Smith in a pick up game. Thought I was good and walked off the court so humbled I considered never playing again. Kidd got humbled by MJ; He knew who was better but Bball is a team game so I know he thought his team could win. Great interview!!

He and Nash are at the top of the list of best passers in the NBA. I love Jason Kidd because he is humble.

Much Respect to J Kidd for keeping it real. 18 years is a long stretch in the League. Way to represent Class, Character and Charisma.

What Jason did taking over the NJ NETS was beyond amazing. Took them to the finals with no center. You had to see how he led that team.

Never seen anything like it in the NBA, before or since.

Thank you Jason Kidd.
