Wow a sample editor and a lower mixer things that have been on most daw for years and steinberg is going on like they have just invented the wheel! but it does look good so i might give it ago...

Nice to see Cubase finally realizing 2016 that MDI isn't the way to go. The implementation however leaves a little to be desired. Let's compare to Logic pro x. Here you can easily have the entire mixer height open on a good sized monitor including all the sends, inserts etc and still see some tracks. In Cubase, you have to go through the chore of clicking buttons to get an overview and the console fx that was suppose to save inserts are not even available so now you have to jump between a full size mixer and the panel. It's easy to see how this could become an unintuitive mess.

Kudos however for adding a very complete history-system to the console. You need to start thinking about an intuitive workflow however if you want me back as a customer.

@Cubase Is the undo/redo button in the top left corner also available in Cubase 9 Elements?

This might be an obvious question that I can't seem to figure out, but in the lower zone 'Editor" for an audio track, is it possible to access Process/Plugin, or do I have to pop it out into the full screen?

PLEASE lower the price so we can afford to of us have been waiting missed the last sale you guys had last i'm sure i'm not the only have spent over $500 on upgrades over the years since Cubasde 6 ai and i still don't own the full version and to upgrade from cubase artist 8 to cubase 9 pro you want $329? Thanks but no thanks i'll pass and keep using maschine, studio, kk and my jam. Still after all this damn money i invested in Sternberg and not even a Batch export option available in cubase artist 9 thats BULLSHIT!! SMH

Common Steinberg!
The only new DAW features I see is Undo/redo history, Layout (for who doesn't use dual screen) and markers (yeah I know, and a sampler track for the FL wannabes).
How many people are waiting for a upgrade which is for 90% a plug-ins upgrade and pay 99 euro?
O well, if they upgrade to something useful we 8.5 owners will need to pay more to upgrade to that, or make the choice to step over to a other DAW then....
