Let’s just call this what this is: Future isn’t mad because he’s still in love with Ciara and wants her back. Future is mad because the narrative that has been permeating hip-hop for decades has been that the guy rapper can cheat on his wife/girlfriend, even if she is also an established artist in the industry as well, and she will still be there. They may go through a rough patch. He may have to do some ass kissing but eventually they’ll get back together or they’ll stay together. And Ciara didn’t do that. Ciara had the actual audacity to move on and not only move on but publicly move onto a relationship which is being lauded as being an example of great healthy, black love while he is being called toxic and his behaviour is being mocked by the public. His ego can’t take it that’s why he keeps bringing it up, even though it’s been Nearly 10 years. Because this isn’t the way things were “supposed“ to go, she was supposed to be his baby mama that he could keep on the line. Maybe casually F here and there while he was messing around with someone else, but he could always go crawling back to her if he was in the mood and she put a stop to that from jump.

I'm just happy to see Ciara finally happy. I've been a fan since she came out when I was 9. And I've seen her date these rappers and get heartbroken. And I remember her second album had a song on there called "Found myself" where she was hoping to find a good husband that God sent to her, so when it happened nearly a decade later, I was so happy for her. I'm happy she never stayed and tolerated B.S. Us Scorpios are loyal and like long-term relationships but not to the point where we stick around for certain things. Just hard to gain that trust back once it's been broken 💯♏🦂
