"Hogwarts Legacy" term could just mean that line of franchise, not just the 1st game, as in HL2 would still come under the umbrella of HL and so would any directors cut or dlc.
Wizarding World mmo and live service (as in continue pay to play not just dlc drops) is probably likely.
Started working on it, or about to start work on a new WW openworld RPG game (likely HL2)?

I'd be fine with an LotR game. I was a Lord of the Rings fan long before I was a Harry Potter fan, and I would love to play an action-rpg in that world (shadow of war doesn't count). But I still hope they're talking about HL2.

You don’t read too much into the posting, quite the opposite - you don’t read enough.

It is significant that the older posting say to work on Hogwarts Legacy, whereas the new ones don’t. Postings which say to work on Hogwarts Legacy are likely to help with the Directors cut. The postings which don’t say this at all are likely all for a new game - probably HL2.

It better be an update gameplay story overhaul for the first game. I ain't supporting HL2 after the firsts games' disaster, i don't trust WB with a second game after what happened. HL1 needs and deserves it, it can be and do so much better. They're a billion-dollar company, they can afford it, and we deserve better after being cheated from the first game and showing massive support for it. Kinda outrages me that people would so willingly throw them even more money after getting scammed by them, it's the reason we get half-assed games in the first place. No mans sky does, everyone rages, refunds, death threats, they spend 8 YEARS on free updates working and building on their reputation, small team that keeps on giving. WB/Avalanche does it, massive franchise, billion dollar company that supports them, Jk rowling also a billionaire, they do it, and nobody bats an eye, everyones still willing to give them more money for a second game, full price AAA, and then even pay for a mini game that shouldve been in HL in the first place. literally takes advantage of everyone and they all don't care, because the majority aren't even gamers lol ridiculous, gamers should not condone that behaviour imo. you bet we should feel entitled, if a nobody company can do it, you bet WB and avalanche can too. they won't do it though cause theyve seen the demand, the people who will willingly bend over and they'll take all your money

Excited that they are working on more things to come. Hoping for more variety in the games, we have rpg and quidditch, hoping for more rpgs, preferably with co op options, and maybe even a game based on solving crimes as an auror.
